Default What will Israel do now?

The next 60 days could be very interesting. We all know Israel takes threats to their State's existence very seriously. Will they go it on their own against Iran? I think its a better than 50% chance they will.

If they wait until Neville Obama leaves office, they'll have an ally instead of an enemy in charge of the US. Waiting is admittedly a risk. They'll have to rely on intelligence which we (and I suspect they, right now) don't have to determine if it's worth it.

Their waiting past 60 days when this deal is final would complicate a strike by Israel. If I were them I would want to take the first swing. Doing so now would about force US military support against Iranian retaliation of an israeli strike.

If the Israelis had the capability to take our Iran's nuclear program, they would have done long ago. What Israel has is the ability to annihilate Iran with their 200 nukes they have on subs and aircraft which is a major deterrent.

Iran is today the 800lb gorilla in the Mideast. Iraq kept them in check before we neutered them.

A war with Iran would be extremely costly to the USA in terms of blood and treasure. Most of their civilian population is friendly to the USA and they would be the ones to suffer the most and not the religious whack jobs that run the country. .
“The President, Vice President and all Civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” U S Constitution
This entire impeachment process is just going to be all about knocking down the most offensively stupid arguments from Trump supporters.

I don't think it's a slam dunk that Israel will have a friend in the White House in 2017.

And BTW: The intercontinental ballistic missals the Mullahs are buying are not to get payload to Israel.

According to Haaretz , "Netanyahu lost his Iran bet, but his next gamble maybe disastrous," 15 July , 2015

Haaretz , a left center Israeli newspaper criticizes Netanyahu for his brinksmanship crusade, worsening Israel's relationship w/USA and NOT separating Israeli goals w/those of Sheldon Addelson , the casino Zionist Republican. Bibi issued a 3 point talking point directive to his Likud followers and urged Israeli domestic opponents to support his efforts for a united front.

Seems to be an incomplete narrative. Where is the rest of the article?

Unvarnished short overview. Google it up and read the whole thing. Repetitive criticism of Netanyahu. No listed author. The point being that Israel domestic politics has differences like the US. Now they will start their own "blame game."

I am seeing news reports that the opposition leader to BiBi is also against this deal. So much so he is compelled to come here and lobby against it. Interesting times.......

If you knew more about Israeli politics (or more about anything, for that matter), you woud know that Ha'aretz is a crazed leftie paper and solidly in the tank for the hate-Netanyahu crowd. This is equal to using MSNBC as a source to criticize a Republican President.

I realize you will not understand this, but we have seen this movie before. Obama is Neville Chamberlain; Netanyahu is Winston Churchill.
