My pregnant wife is in her third trimester, She suffers a catastrophic stroke two weeks before delivery. If we lived within a few hours of medical care, the baby might have been delivered...maybe not...
At the arrival to the ER we are informed that both mother and baby are dead.
My wife had instructed me previously that her organs, tissue and corneas were to be donated in the event of her her death, as the medical community deemed necessary.
So my question....Does my wife's request overrule, as to her unborn fetus/baby?
Should I respect my wife's request? Does her request include that of the dead fetus/baby?
Does the opinion of of others out way our personal decisions?

I'm glad you were inspired to look something up in Gods word.

Well.................I used to study God's word but my mind does not work well/retain things anymore. Read
Psalm 139.16. Seems plain that in God's view we are important from the unformed state and on.

this is an interesting thread with lively and civil debate.

i can only add one thought. it is: "for ongoing government funding and the unwavering support of the population in our country today.........it's a good thing them planned parenthood bitches didn't shoot a lion or refuse to bake a gay/lesbian wedding cake!"
