How is it possible to agree with both Stan and Marv, they have opposing views as I read it. I saw nothing in Marv's post giving any indication he plans to stop his insulting or condescending ways, did you? I agree with Paul its gotten out of hand.

First, I want to commend Chris for not intervening. I do think it is a problem that we should work out ourselves. I have always chosen to ignore the few personal attacks that have come my way, thinking that they said more about the person that made them than they said about me. The one thing that has disappointed me is that many seem to believe that they MUST respond in kind to a personal attack. Really much better to leave the perpertrater hanging.

Lastly, I would like to congratulate James Durfree, while being one of those who once frequently resorted to personal attacks, has made a sincere effort to refrain from doing so. We could all take a lesson from him. Neither James nor any of us are perfect but he for sure is making the effort.

Best post of the day. Have to agree with the assessment of James.
