that and Trump has the balls to say what the American public really feels, not the same rehashed rhetoric we have been getting from those already in office...People may not like the messenger but the message is waking some people up and making the beltway crowd a few sleepless nights and making a few sphincters pucker

On the other hand Scott Walker and even "Bobby" Jindal agree w/Trump regarding denying illegals having offspring gaining citizenship thru American birth. This position of course runs counter to the 14th Amendment which was a way to ensure that freed post-Civil War slaves were legal US citizens. Carly clucks and says that it would require Constitutional Action and.....but did say FederaL monies should be denied "Sanctuary Cities" and tighter employer verification of SS. I have heard no discussion of employer penalties (fines/imprisonment) for hiring illegals?

Trump did take a whack at Ford Motor Company saying that if they insist in having Mexican plants manufacture Ford parts/vehicles he would institute a 35% importation tax on these products to preserve US jobs.
    .
Logically that would be the most effective ; as well as least invasive and cheapest remedy to the problem. Take away the jobs and the freebies and they will quit coming of their own accord
Sadly, The lobbyist's won't let it happen

Agreed- mjh345 #12 - someone has to cut the head off of the rattler and few , left or right , want to deal with it because of profit...Bon , I also agree w/your #11 ..I know what has driven me to comment publicly in my own state , when Obama and ex-Gov. Patrick Deval wanted to stick some of those illegal kids (2014) up here at Westover Air Force Reserve Base and all the Dem politicos ran for cover...we voted in a Republican Gov and he has yet to prove he is more than a pretty face (remember Senator Scott Brown- Mr. Beefcake????). In short , I look at Trump as a pot stirrer !! One should not throw out the baby with the bath water..Hell, I have not forgiven ex-Governor Romney (MA) for hiring illegals to work in and outside his house and he blamed his wife..Mr. Bain Capital-right!

Law is law or there is no law--wink , wink. The line in the sand has to be drawn or as the "Donald" said we will have no country...7.5 Billion and counting....

Perhaps we will hear from him on his thoughts on purchasing mail order brides, allowable quantities of them, and if their children should become illegals upon the dissolve of the contract.

[QUOTE=Henlee;1343462]Trumps policy to deny citizenship to children of illegals born in the united states is against the constitution.

Could you please point that out?

Probably false. as it has not been litigated at the SC level. "Original intent" definitely counts, and we all know what that was.

Moreover, if illegal parents are expelled or leave due to lack of jobs (employers fined heavily), obviously the spawn would accompany.

Serial monogamy is in fashion among the elite or not so elite in America. In modern times it was Mickey Rooney (8x) and Elizabeth Taylor , altho Lizzie married and divorced Richard the Burton twice. Trump just buys and finances his wives on a lease program..while a Billie Clinton cats around and claims ??? European leaders just think we Americans are Puritan nuts and they have multiple known mistresses and children altho I am not sure about Merckl and her house husband? Enjoy the show..we have over a year to go---

Section 1 has 2 important words. (Jurisdiction and reside). Just being on American soil, physical presence, is not mentioned. We know the amendment was for slaves but it left Indians out, they had a physical presence. Why?

Since it so easy to find please find a couple foreign diplomats or ambassadors which children have been granted dual citizenship.
