Default Shackeled Pigeon and Gunners Up Original Winger

Is a Gunners Up Original winger going to break the neck on a shackled pigeon??? Is the Pigeon going to die from the impact of falling out of the sky?

I'd like to use the pigeons for more than one throw otherwise I might as well save them for flyers, right?

You want some real fun, don't shackel or clip their wings. They will come out of the winger doing 300 mph.

As said cut flight feathers on one wing and place pigeon with back against pouch.
    Have fun.

As an alternative, try painter's tape or masking tape. Make a few wraps around one wing only to hold the flight feathers down.

This can be easily unwrapped after training and the bird's feathers are like new.

Note, sometimes the pup will be rough and the treatement of the bird by pup offsets the tape use....

Or hood them. They tend to hover, then come slowly down to the ground. Very exciting for more experienced dogs.
