    John,

I have not read the article yet, but that video was extremely well done. It is good to see Gus doing what he loves.

I'm sorry that Gus' first remission was not longer. Here's hoping the second one will be longer/stronger than expected.

I will never forget the encouragement you gave me earlier this summer. I don't want to hijack the thread but Boomer's Leukemia is in full remission now although he has not regained his strength and is having some neurological issues now. Like Gus' lymphoma, the leukemia WILL return if Boomer lives long enough. Again, I'm thankful for the encouragement and I'm glad that I moved forward with the oncologist and chemotherapy.

All the best to you and Gus.

Dawg, I know what you're going through. Every day starts with, how does Boomer look today? You get hypersensitive to the most minute change for good or bad, watch appetite like a hawk, monitor quality of poop. Much harder on us than the dogs who are just living their life, soaking up the love and getting all the retrieves they want.

Was a pleasure to see Gus run at this years Nat Am. What a happy working dog and it's clear that he loves the guy standing beside him. Great video. I showed it to all the people at work who think this is more about us and the dogs aren't really more than extensions of our egos. Gus proved them wrong.

    Keep going Gus!!!

John, so sorry to see this awful news about Gus. We had the pleasure of meeting you, and training with you at last year's specialty. This was a beautiful article and video and it brought tears to my eyes. Prayers for Gus.
