May he rest in peace and AFC Currie is waiting for John to run him. He will be missed in the Chessie community.

We too are very sorry for the loss. John was a great guy and we shared many training days, trials, and memories.

I competed with John, ran under him when he judged, and spent lots of time sitting and talking in the gallery with him. He was a great guy and I'll miss him. God speed John.....

John was a good guy. I first met him at Fort Pitt. I just went to watch the derby. He was very welcoming. His dog Dude had won the Q. He told me Dude won his first and last Q's he ran. He retired him after that.

Doug and I are very sad to learn of this today. He was a fighter with a kind and gentle soul and will be missed a great deal. He loved to joke with me about the "exotic breed" he and I loved to run and I will miss his smile and encouragement after I made a leap to try out the field trail game. We have talked about him often and fondly.
