The Alaska Working Retriever Club and the Retriever Club of Alaska are pleased to release the agenda for the upcoming seminar by Professional Retriever Trainer, LuAnn Pleasant of Red Rover Kennels!! http://www.redroverretrievers.com/
The seminar’s target audience is any one aspiring to get a retriever puppy and train it successfully from the start. This seminar is aimed in part at fulfilling the Club’s Articles and By-laws to further the advancement of the retriever breeds; to further the conservation of wildlife, in particular upland game birds and waterfowl and; to protect and advance the interests of the retrieving breeds by encouraging sportsmanlike conduct and competition at field trials and hunt tests.
Very importantly, the seminar is being offered to encourage participation by youth, as well as adults, in the successful training of retriever breeds. We encourage all to attend, and consider sponsoring a young student of conservation or compeition. Youth are critical to carry forward Alaska's hunter heritage!
