Exclamation Classified ads - Many to be removed

The guidelines for posting in the Classified forums are not being followed. Our Moderators are overloaded with trying to keep up with them.

Later today, ALL ADS NOT IN COMPLIANCE WILL BE DELETED. There will not be any PMs sent with explanations of why as it would take hours to do so.

If your ad no longer appears, it is either because it reached its expiration date or was not in compliance.

Marvin, I really haven't been around very much since last summer when I lost my Mom. Since that time, I've had pneumonia and other health problems so Renee has been trying by herself to keep RTF going in the right direction. Maintaining the Classified forums is really a major job and can be very time consuming. If people would only read the guidelines and follow them when posting their ads, it would be a huge help.

I used to spend hours moderating the Classifieds as a volunteer for Chris. Once RTF was sold, being the Administrator/Moderator became almost a full time "job", one I was not willing to do without compensation. When I approached that matter with the new owners, no compensation was offered. Up until my Mom's passing, I continued, but since then I haven't been around much on RTF. I stay active with training client dogs, but time spent on RTF is not as important or pressing for me.

I applaud Renee on her efforts and perhaps we will be able to find someone that can be trusted to come on board as a Moderator to help out.

How do you remove your add when it's no longer needed?

In some of the Classified forums, the poster has the option to delete the ad. This is not an option however in any of the puppy classified forums as there was a problem with posters deleting their ad before the expiration date so they could put a new ad up which would appear at the top of the forum.

You can always send a PM to a Moderator letting us know that your ad can now be removed or you can edit your ad to say item is sold or ad can be deleted. It helps if you put that info at the very beginning of the ad, rather than just changing the subject line.

My add has been removed 3 x's now. I don't get it. I have 2 litters sired by the same stud listed, and one keeps getting deleted. I have pm'd both Eric and Vicky to ask why. I have hips, elbows, eye clearances listed, full reg names. What am I doing wrong? Is it against the rules to list 2 different litters sired by the same stud?

That might have been me thinking one was a duplicate, oops. There are three ads by you, are any still missing?
