    Default Rough tough kennel size

I have a 85lb lab who will probably hit 90 when full grown. I have never had a rough tough kennel, or have anywhere i can go look at them in person so not sure what size will be comfortable for my dog. Large or XL?

Large is big enough (you could put a calf in the XL...)

My lab is 75lbs, and we use a large. I would recommend you measure your dog, length wise, and compare that against the RTK interior dimensions.

Yep, length more important than weight, I can make my 80lber 90 if I wanted, wouldn't change what size of crate he needs.

I have a leggy 85lb male that I bought a RuffTough XL for. It is very tall. Length wise it's perfect for him. I've been very happy with it.

I’ve looked into both , just hate buying anything for that kind of money online without putting my dog in one first . I see people selling them all the time because they ordered wrong size

Based on recommendations I purchased an intermediate side entry for my Lab. She is pretty small but I had to return the kennel because she would not fit in it. I had to buy the kennel online and mail it back.

Right now I have a 36" Long Vari Kennel in the back of my SUV. I was thinking of getting a large RT side entry but at this point I don't see the benefit (to me) of buying a RT. If my dog was exposed outside of the vehicle or was a problem while in her kennel, it would make sense. A large RT will cost me over $500 to my door, so I will likely stick with my current setup.
