Default '00 NFC FC AFC Maxx's Surprise

There doesn't seem to be a lot of recent info on Prize on this forum.
What is everyone's thought's on him?
    Strong points, weak points.

    thanks in advance..

recent? He was NFC in the year 2000? that was 18 yrs ago.... Probably best way to find info on him is to contact his owner and/or trainer(s).
The way I look at it, every dog is an opportunity to be a better trainer, and every day is a new day to be a better trainer to the same dog we trained yesterday.

His mother - FC-AFC Carroll's Black Velvet was a very good dog! Something that most fail to mention
    in their praise of LM.

I stand corrected! What I do remember is in the initial year of LM's pups appearing on the derby
list their were 18 different dams, 17 with some sort of title.

We bred Red Squads Blue on Black to Prize about 4 years ago. I kept a pup from the breeding and he is a beautiful dog and fun to watch. You know what that means in the FT game. Couple of littermates were easy Master Hunters. One got injured before running derbies.

80+ lbs. & tall. My pup is sensitive, biddable, has some go but not over the top, sits y’all & like a rock, has always watched birds well, will watch long birds to ground even past a tight flyer.

    Remember 1/2 comes from dam.

I have a beutiful 4 month old male out of Prize. He has exceeded all my expectations. Hes wonderful to train great in the house with the family and his on off switch is second to none. He is very keen and has some beutiful trial characteristics at his young age. He can mark really well and has a very superior nose. Captainjack was right that half comes from mom too. Who is a gorgeous hard working bitch from AJTOP Retreiver in Quebec Canada. Pic with leash on is at 11 weeks old and pic on picnic table is at 15 weeks.
