Sshhh it’s a secret. Flushed 13 birds in a two hour hunt last week. It’s hit or miss, but there are some birds. It’s not SD. Just not enough cover. Where there’s cover it is decent. Just my experience so far.

    Journal entry:
Oct 27 Pounce spent several hours in a goose blind...one shot...no geese...great "morning"
note: Just "hanging out" and doing "not much" is a useful skill.

The "one shot" everyone has experienced happened when we took a break. Getting out of
the blind for a brief "leg stretch" was soon interrupted by a single goose coming in low,
loud and focused on the decoys. Scrambling to reach for my gun, a quick passing shot was
    totally "See ya later".

    "Thorson Pond"

    "Excited, Anticipation"

    "The Blind"

    "The View" (dug out style)

    The "Issue"

Jim is doing well. Probably Buzz' last hunt, but Maple has picked it up quickly! They are having fun!
