Default Another Cost of Illegal Aliens

This morning our local news reported that late last night the sheriff was chasing an SUV with several folks in it, but called off the chase as things were getting too dangerous to continue. This morning a farmer found a couple of injured people walking down the road. The sheriff helicopter found the SUV crashed in a ditch, 6 dead at the scene, at least 3 more injured including one that had to be halo flighted, and the search continues for possible others. ALL of the expenses involved will be paid by the taxpayer. Halo flights aren't cheap. At least three in hosp, also n the taxpayer, as will be burial etc. Just one of the less mentioned expenses involved.

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

A 7th "immigrant" has died as a result of the crash. The news channel, or course refers to the folks as immigrants, in actuality, they are illegals.

One thing that Trump has done is ship those that must be released with a future court date, is ship them to sanctuary cities. The democrats keep harping that they pay taxes and really are a net positive when it comes to taxes vs welfare. Now Dade Co. Fl. is complaining there is not enough tax dollars to pay for those released in the county.

My thoughts are let them feel what the border states are feeling.

On the local news tonight: In the past 3 weeks, 45,000 aliens have been intercepted attempting to illegally cross the border into TEXAS (that's just Texas, just 3 weeks, and just the ones they caught). Governor is sending another 1000 national guard troops to assist ICE and the 1200 national guard troops already there. Feds are picking up the tab, so thank ya'll who live elsewhere.

ON a related note, for the past week, our heat index has been over 100 and up to 123 on several days. Yesterday we own the heat index derby at 117, I didn't hear what it was today, but they are predicting 114 for tomorrow (again one of the highest in the area) Crossing the chaparral between the lower RGV and our area is surely killing some folks. We won't really know until some rancher or cowboy stumbles across the bodies.

Well, there is a lot of reporting about the "concentration camp" remark by AOC, and also reports by various "watchdog" groups about the conditions in which the illegals are being held, but what do you do with 15,000 prisoners a week? This is where the wall would help. It could slow the flow significantly. I also read a report complaining about how the increased vigilance on the border is "forcing" people to cross in areas that are less safe, putting them at greater risk. I have to say that no one is FORCING anyone to enter this country illegally. The whole point of increased vigilance by law enforcement is to MAKE IT MORE DIFFICULT to enter the country illegally. These folks, now often from Central American countries, should stay home and fix things there or "immigrate" to Mexico, or, perhaps, head south to their Latin American neighbors.

True words, until it's worse or more impossible at our border than it is in Guatemala, the vacuum will continue.

Now Mexico is sending 15,000 troops to the US border. The report doesn't make it completely clear why, and then begins discussing the troops that Mexico has sent to its southern border in an attempt to intercept folks headed north to Los Estados Unidos. It also says that Mexico is asking the US and the UN for help. Well, there's our invitation to send troops to the southern Mexico border, which would give us a toe hold in Mexico and, perhaps give us a chance to crush the drug cartels while we are there. We could, after all say we were invited.
