    Default 2019 narc

Good luck to all and may the weather be favorable, birds be thrown accurately, and gunners be on target!

Looking forward to the updates by Tina Styan and her 'staff'!
The way I look at it, every dog is an opportunity to be a better trainer, and every day is a new day to be a better trainer to the same dog we trained yesterday.

Not much of a WB from a water standpoint. 230 yards of running and 20 yards of swimming.

Pretty important to get those 20 yards of water just right I bet.

You there running it? Some of the best dogs in the country have failed it. I have been there both days working and watching. Unless you know the terrain and grounds here hard to make a statement like that.

Just my opinion is all. 20 yards of water isn't a water blind to me. Toughness of the set up isn't what is questioned.

    You Ok with that?

    .
While not a big swim, faced with a little dinky piece of water with a little angle entry a few yards wide, expect dogs will not get in. Whole point of this blind. A good number of dogs either didn't get wet or tippy toed the bank. Together with the log many skirted, the judges could cut a bunch. They may give a pass to some who didn't do it so well.

Not judged like the weekend, don’t expect a big cut based on this blind which will be forgotten by the end of the week. Say goodbye to dogs who did not get in the water, don’t attach too much significance to the log. Rarely are National judges afforded the time to have a National caliber blind.

The rumor I am hearing is that 25 dogs will be dropped.

If that includes the 9 pickups and 1 no go that would be 15 dropped. 25 drops plus the 10 would be a huge cut this early.

The drops include pickups. I am told that there were multiple no-go's on the blinds. No explanation why
