    Default Early Evening Osprey

Early Evening Osprey ~ I captured this shot whilst on me way home from a retriever training session this evening. The light of the sun setting in the western sky was bouncing off of the ospreys breast drawing me eye to its perch against a beautiful sky blue backdrop.

Awesome Mike, fabulous shoot!!! That “frameable” in my eyes.
I have one that hunts my pond in the spring, but it was here earlier this week. So cool to watch them hunt, circle, hover, and dive. Love watching.

    Beautiful picture!

We must have an Osprey nest somewhere nearby. One will occasionally take a fish from our pond.

A month or so ago, I fortunate to witness something I will never forget. Saw an Osprey chasing a Bald Eagle across the sky! I guess the eagle was encroaching on the Osprey's territory. Wish I could have gotten a video of that.
