This one is called "Justice on Trial" and is by Molly Hemmingway and Carrie Severino.
I've just started it but it looks pretty good. It is the tale of Mr Justice Kavanaugh's appointment to the Supreme Court and all of the maneuvering that went on over the following three months. It's probably not recreational reading but so far the book is right down at ground level, who did what and to whom. I'll probably only read it a chapter at a time because it is so dry. On the other hand, if you wish insight on what went on behind the scenes, this appears to be the book as it includes both sides of the story without favor to either.
