Hi Paul glad you’re in good spirits.

Well I guess I’ve done it again, lashed out at the tiger for no reason at all. I should feel bad.
To the OP, pros filling hunt test is a problem that’s probably not going to change. The AKC and many clubs as well like the money. If you join a club or clubs you can get your dog entered. I must point out that you will have to do some work before during or after the test. I have a hard time picturing a club member attending an event and not helping but I guess it happens.
    Happy training

How's the weather on that planet you live on? Club members don't automatically get entered, or get a spot. Get a code or get in line. Dream on.

No they don’t, you have to put forth a little effort. And yes you do need the worker code excuse me for not pointing that out, thought it was common knowledge.
Anyhow it worked for me on my planet this summer.

If you want to run your dog any weekend you want, anywhere in the country then enter field trials.
After you pass a few hunting tests what's the point continuing?

What if 9 clients enter 3 dogs each simultaneously using same process as for the 28 dogs? 27 dogs entered in same amount of time.

Bottom line is when 65 dogs try to enter 60 dog test, 5 owners will have to stay home and will be unhappy about it.

I timed it the other day and it only took 1-1/2 minutes for a 60 dog entry to fill up, which now has a waiting list of 15.

Here is a thought. An abundance of members willing to work events might influence clubs to have more and larger tests.
    Hope that doesn't offend anyone.

I don't know where your $20 club is, but the club trials YOU have run in this area (only in the last year so you are basically a noob) have been very well organized and running multiple trials and hunt tests for many years with good systems for volunteers working trials and hunt tests.

Every event I have attended has been well organized. I very much appreciate the time and effort the members put in and always express that to the ones I get to talk to.
    Did I imply otherwise?
