Im not trying to put down chocolates just not at all my choice for my likes or what I need. If you or anyone else likes them then good for you but when you put a one in a million dog on the table I'd have to argue the point. There are good chocolates out there. I've seen a few including Ammo.
No doubt. It's most likely all black for me from here on out just because I've changed what I look at when picking a pup.

However I wouldn't not pick a pup just because it was brown if the litter was what I wanted in all other areas.

I think most of us feel the same but it just makes me cringe a bit when I read chocs being talked about in the same sentence as silvers. A lot of these silver breeders and owners try to make the argument that how silvers are viewed now is the same as how chocolates where viewed in the past and it's a complete apples and oranges comparison.

Yes, they may have been undesirable by many but they were always considered pure bred labs.

Perfectly understandable, for all further discussion, I propose that the word "Lab" should never immediately follow the word "Silver".
Next problem, what to call a Silver after all it's hair falls out? Nah, no problem nobody cares.
