There are probably more stories, positive and negative. about Tiger than any other Chesapeake. IMHO he will always represent the quintessential CBR. He would swim and play with me in Eloise's pool in the middle of the week and win an Open on the weekend.
    He is a legend!

You order a Lab; ask a Golden; but negotiate with a Chesapeake!

Actually when I saw her she was fully clothed.

She used to come up & run in Canada, visiting with her friend Sybil Reid, a Chessy breeder from Bellingham.
She was a credit to the sport & a willing conversationalist to the newbies of which I was one at the time.

I've only saw 2 Chessy's that I would have liked to own. Tiger was 1 & the other
was Nanuk's Cheslang, owned by a guy from Vancouver. Eloise also would have
liked to own the other dog & offered Hans Kuck (so it's rumored) significant $$$$$
    but not taken.

I have heard stories of individuals on top of their truck but don’t know if that’s true.

I did see Eloise at a trial where she was not fully recuperated from going after one of her dogs in the crate with her bare hands.
Not a smart thing to do at any level to any dog regardless of how mad you are!
