Default Meanwhile, business news outside of the impeachment

Manufacturing report today was the lowest level since the recession. Last 2 months have had numbers below 50, according to
One financial analyst, numbers under 46 are consistent with recession. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/sl...nds-2019-10-01. While Trump is blaming the Fed, business leaders are saying tariffs. Also GM strike is not helping.

I do find it interesting that noise involving Trump really doesn’t seem to have much impact on the stock market anymore. At first, every tweet seemed to either send it up or down. Now, even impeachment doesn’t have any effect.

The T trump recession is on schedule
The inverse interest curve has accurately predicted every recession for over 50 years
The TDS T rump supporters are impervious to facts however

I don’t know that I would blame Trump, but his trade wars, which seems to be his trade policy, certainly is not helping things. After such a long run of a strong economy (10 years), a slowdown is mostly overdue. Hopefully, the consumer can continue to buoy this economy for a little longer. I do imagine the China trade war will come to a conclusion as we get closer to the election, in order to get a last minute boost. At this point, I think the only thing Trump has going for him is the economy...

Peter Navarro lost it mentally yesterday. He just can't handle the damage being done to the USA by Trump's policies.

Of course, Trump blames businesses for mismanagement and forgetting his 5 bankruptcies.

John Deere just announced big layoffs.

    It's the trickle down affect
"No figure, regardless of the heights they've reached and no figure regardless of the office they occupy, should be allowed in this country to cry witch hunt or fake news in an attempt to deflect their criminal wrongdoing."

Right and it has been on schedule since he was elected! The only way we have a recession is when the Dem's win the Presidency, which I hope is after I am dead!

Interesting survey (done last week) by CNBC showing support/confidence in Trumps economic policies? has dropped below 50% in both R and D. The most important economic concern of both political groups is healthcare. CNBC summary is Trump is appeasing his base at the cost of losing support from others.

? Is because I am not really sure what his economic policies are, except tariffs

Mike, I think his biggest economic policies have to do with deregulating everything. I mean lets be honest, has he brought ANY of his own policy to the forefront? LOL
