    • Finalized a revised trade agreement with South Korea, which includes provisions to increase American automobile exports. They can buy all the US made vehicles they wanted to before. You can't give a way a US made passenger vehicle in S Korea! Maybe a few light pickups and some heavy duty trucks.
    • Negotiated an historic U.S.-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement to replace NAFTA. More like NAFTA 1.1 They only gave it a new name so as to appear like we really got some great new deal.
    • Secured $250 billion in new trade and investment deals in China and $12 billion in Vietnam. The Chinese investment was done prior to Trump taking office.
    • Enacted steel and aluminum tariffs to protect our vital steel and aluminum producers and strengthen our national security. I guess that is why sanctions on aluminum from Russia were lifted. Sure is a shiny new aluminum plant being built in McConnell's Kentucky. Geez, I wonder how he landed that commitment. Steel plant just went belly up, Bayou Steel after 50 years in operation. Just like Trump saved the coal industry. What a joke!
    • Recent agreement with the E.U. will reduce barriers and increase trade of American soybeans to Europe. Soy Beans are dirt cheep and will remain so thanks to Trump. Losing the Chinese market won't stop hurting farmers for a long time.
    • Won a WTO dispute regarding Indonesia’s unfair restriction of U.S. agricultural exports.
    • Opened up Argentina to American pork exports for the first time in a quarter-century Yep, and we committed to buying a lot of their cheap beef. Seen beef prices lately?
    • American beef exports have returned to china for the first time in more than a decade Nothing new with that.

The two largest US MFGers of farm equipment, John Deere and Case New Holland, coupled with the fact that farming in the US is a huge thing, I would disagree with your assessment.

Both are international concerns reg. If trump has jacked our farmers so badly then shouldn't orders for their production be going somewhere the Chinese are willing to purchase grain from? The market will find its production of grain and the producer of that grain will find its machinery.

Don't worry about our farmers. They will get a "program", they will bitch if it doesn't rain, bitch if it rains and poor mouth about how rough it is to be a u.s. farmer.

Sounds like golfers, fishermen, construction workers, frou frou urban dog walkers and most folks from every walk of life that I’m aware of....at least we have that in common! Maybe we should all stick together?

My concurrence is so vigorous that elucidation becomes a challenge I must now, in the interest of time, shrink from.

When looking at the whole U. S. economy, even these two large companies combined, are small potatoes and since they are in the same industry, it would only be logical that when one is hurting they both are...!

But like 'belly buttons' we all have are own opinion!

Lets all get behind Pocahontas for 2020. She'll save the farmers right along with the minorities, women, children, illegal aliens and the planet.
Nationalize all businesses (all the profitable ones anyway). Wide open borders. Free stuff for everyone that has not earned it, pay for it by punishing those that have.
Saved money for your retirement? you're going to have to share it with your neighbors that have squandered every nickel all their lives.
It works every time it is tried (for a few years).

The heartland belongs to the Farm Lobby. Think ethanol 1st. Best building in most county seats

That is one thing about SOCIALISM it treats everyone the same, we all would share the misery! That of course excludes the Government leaders! All the Democratic candidates are following this road, only some are more obvious than others about what the would do, if elected...
