Default Congrats to Foxx and Lauren Hays-Curtis

What a great feeling that must be. Swung for the fence and hit a home run!
Congrats to all of the finalists.

Congratulations to Lauren and NFC Foxx! Couldn’t have happened to a nicer person. She kept him loose and relaxed throughout, (he actually had a Spa Day before the 5th) and it showed. Well done!

    Great job Foxx.

Makes me happier than ever that I pulled the trigger on the Foxx breeding Lauren recommended to me!

A huge congratulations to Lauren and NFC Foxx!
The way I look at it, every dog is an opportunity to be a better trainer, and every day is a new day to be a better trainer to the same dog we trained yesterday.

Congratulations to Lauren who has had two very talented dogs. She is but the third female handler to win the National Retriever Championship. The first, Judith Weikel (Aycock) won in 1976 with San Joaquin Honcho when he was 3 and she was 32. In 1997 Laura Parrott won with Lucyanna’s Fast Willie and now in 2019 Lauren wins with Bayou Teche Swing For The Fence. Does this trend suggest the next female handler to win the NRC will be in +/- 2040?

Many and major congratulations, Lauren! It is always a treat to watch you run a dog, and a nicer person can't be found. Do it again!
