    Job growth?

    Trump has 10 months left to catch up with Obama's numbers.

    From Forbes;

    Why would the Russians try to re-elect Trump?
    Because he’s making Russia great again—while crippling American power and influence.
    The Trump Presidency is Putin’s dream come true.

    We understand that you prefer the Obama economy to the Trump economy.
    Others of us prefer prosperity. To each his own.
    Some prefer when their NFL team improves from 2-14 to 8-8. I prefer my team going from 8-8 to winning the Super Bowl.

    It does require that one read all the numbers, not just one of the indictors.

    I'm 36 and my best times financially was under Obama.. I bought a decent house, a nice chunk of land and was able to build another house.. Looking around on the housing market now I could never do that..So prosperity is relative to each person..

    Because the real estate market has recovered. Bad for you as in individual. Good for the country as a whole. I think you made an excellent point. The good news is that most likely your real estate investments are gaining significant value.

    Were you not hoping your property would gain value when you bought it?

    If anyone is having trouble finding a job right now I suspect they don't really want one.

    You make a good point, assuming that one also follows a few economic indicators along with what you are experiencing in your own life. I am now almost 70 and I have experienced hard times and great times. At 36 I too had many things going right for me in my life!

    As I matured and started thinking about life after my kids were grown, I started to monitor the economy and the Political candidates for elections a lot more. That part of my life journey continues, probably until I take my last breath...

    You have to watch politicians and their supporters closely when they talk Economics.....an art, that all politicians learn, is how to present data that paints a great picture. Even if in fact a broader view of indicators would suggest that they failed at economic growth...

    A rising stock market is only good when a dem is in the white house. Under a republican president it is "the rich getting richer", "wall street not main street", "wealth inequality" blah blah blah

    Those are good numbers (up 44% since entering office), below Obama's (up 59%) at that same time point, but still good. Compared to the Bush's, his numbers are outstanding.
