    Default Antiques Retrieverite Roadshow -

A flea market find yesterday somewhere on the Delmarva peninsula (don't want to get any more specific than that and give away my hoarding honeyhole - in my buck-a-bag ($1) grab was a 1996 edition of the late lamented Waterfowl magazine. Featuring an article by...OK, see for yourself (and please disregard the Italian Nimrodding Rembrandt print above the family photo and prose as hailed)

If I may take the liberty: Early evidence of our (rtf) founder's innate abilities as ace communicator with ducks, dogs and dare-to-dreamers in our games, alike.

Fuzzy little marsh moppet preoccupying him at present, according to my and YBB Glenda's intel, but that's on our founder for any further divulging!

It is true. I am getting to know a field Golden puppy pretty well and am helping to raise him. His name is George. He was born on Halloween 2019.

Thanks MG for the wonderful surprise return of some memories I'd not thought of for years. That photo of the young guy in DU camo with Champ and puppy Luke was a request from my grandmother.

One Christmas - 1994, I believe, she told me she had all the things she could ever want. For Christmas she wanted an updated family photo. She lived in South Carolina and I was in upstate New York and we didn't see each other too often. So I hired a local photographer to meet me at my favorite Adirondack canoe launch to shoot some photos.

Here's George. Any friends passing through Central IL - he'd be happy to bite you. Chris

Chris, where should I send the bandana, bows, towel, and brush?

Nice pup by the way. Any of Casey in the background?

    Best to you and yours,
