I've seen many companies, event centers and public facilities which all have life saving equipment on site.

Are any AKC clubs(or others) carrying life support systems or advanced EMT kits?

Ohio Valley Retriever Club has had AED equipment at every stake for a few years now. Michigan Flyways Retriever Club has it available now also. I was at a Michigan Flyways hunt test a year and a half ago when a friend of mine had a heart attack. There was a nurse at the stake but they had no AED equipment at that time. By the time the EMT squad got there, he had passed. I think all the other clubs that run at the same location as Michigan Flyways have AED equipment, too.

The CRTA training grounds in CA have them. I believe the member clubs helped fund them. Quite a few hunts tests are held on the grounds throughout the year.

I'm a retired cop and just as important is to know the physical address of where you are when you are at an event. You can't call 911 and say you are at "Johnson's Farm". Another issue I've seen are that some training sites are fairly remote and have no/poor cell service. Something to check on when you arrive. Know where the nearest landline is or who has cell service in your group.

The local HRC club I am a member of had several "In Case of Emergency" signs made up to post at the HQ and around the grounds. These signs prominently displayed the physical address of the property to be given to the 911 dispatcher.

Since this equipment need periodic updating, it might be best to lease. Owner pays to update.
Was judging Master Amateur in St Louis in 2018. AKC VP had a cardiac event. AED saved his life.

Leasing would be great if available. Most of the time two or three stakes will be running simultaneously, on different grounds, so multiple units would be needed.
