    Default Same song 80th verse

I'm just trying to learn how it's done folks. Not wanting to be a whiny-face.

I think I'm too slow picking out the pictures that have cars (or whatever.) Maybe the EE system just thinks I'm a robot no matter what I do. Who knows. But I had my eye on my phone and at exactly 2000 hrs I hit enter event, and as soon as I got in... the event was full.

So, congrats to those that succeeded. I just want to know your secret!

Fast internet, nanoseconds matters. Chrome browser that is preloaded with all the answers and credit card info. We go as far as using a PC that is hardwired to the internet as using a wifi connection can slow it just enough to make a difference.

This just goes to show how far this segment of the sport has devolved. In this particular event, one handler was able to enter 16 dogs consecutively in both Master tests. That constitutes 16% of the allowable entries in both of them. But someone with a single dog couldn't get a spot in either of the tests. You can't make this stuff up.

What's next? Hiring a company to get you into a test? -Paul

Paul, you once made a suggestion addressing the situation. Maybe we need to continue to keep the issue front and center and make an effort at a consensus that the powers that be, cannot ignore.

You think you might start that discussion again and keep it front and center?

Too bad some folks don't start a NAHRA club and enjoy small entries and non-nanosecond entry times. Crazy.

when I used to buy frequently on eBay and Gun Broker I used a "sniper" service, basically they would enter my bid automatically with seconds to spare, there was a stretch where I didnt lose a bid except if my maximum wasn't enough. I am guessing there is that same type of service or program out there to do the same thing. There are very few other explanations as to why the single entrant is getting beat out for coveted spots just because of computer speed

Maybe a delegate of one of the retriever clubs needs to attend an AKC delegate meeting and ask to be heard about the issue? Maybe that same delegate could also ask about the silver colored dogs who are being registered as Labrador retrievers?
