Do you have a video link showing where we can all learn to suck eggs?

    Regards,

    Grannie.

Never throw a bumper while the dog is behind you or out of your sight.
Setting up cold blinds is likely going to be a bigger challenge for you than the rest of us.
Thank you, very kind, Mine's a pint.

I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen a vertical arc.

I guess I’ve never tried to throw a bumper quite that far. Actually I rarely throw from the line other than a short distraction mark so a gun can retire. Even then it’s usually a bird, so it’s non lethal.😉

I made the mistake of trying to throw the bumper as far a I could by winding it up like a baseball pitch or a cowboy lasso until the stupid pup wandered right under it and got clobbered.
Think of baseball safety. Think of a squatting catcher positioned too close to the batsman.
No offense, the puppy was not being stupid it was just being a puppy.
If your pup needs longer marks get help, a launcher of some kind or do remote sends if the pup is solid on sit.

If you have an issue with Mr. Hillmann why don’t you contact him directly and voice your concerns.

This thread brings to mind the punch line from a popular TV commercial: " Stay in your lane bro"
You order a Lab; ask a Golden; but negotiate with a Chesapeake!
