Take note of the intent of diversity within the site.. It is simply a PUBLIC discussion board, that provides you with YOUR CHOICE of what you want to read or expound ..

It's Not a pulpit! It isn't a single venue ,single rule book, single goal .

Its about training dogs. specifically Retrievers..

Training the family pet.. Training a gun dog. a Hunting companion. training a Hunt test dog. Training a field trial dog..

Sharing stories, experiences.. Happy moments about success! That first Started ribbon! That Open win! or the heartache of our dogs passing..

And maybe a light hearted moment or two..

It is far easier to spit on the work of others than it is to produce something better yourself.

Thanks for sharing the link to Chris' youtube video. I've been a member on RTF since 2003 and had never seen it before today!!

    Nailed it Gooser

Thank you Chris. I know you don't comment here much anymore... but I am pretty certain you drop in from time to time.
The way I look at it, every dog is an opportunity to be a better trainer, and every day is a new day to be a better trainer to the same dog we trained yesterday.

Thank you for the video clip, I have been here since 2003 as well and I have never seen this video before. I do miss the days of some of the good natured making fun of each other. I do always appreciate the good advice I get here, and am always disappointed when I see the occasional nasty replies to some questions. I still do believe there are more smart, kind and all around good folks on here.

Maybe some should take a nap? If you aren’t interested in a post or thread, just move on to the next one. Sort of like changing the channel on the tv. 🤔

    Good find and reminder, that.
If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.
