Default Tritronics Sport 60_ Tone problem

The Sport 60 tone function delivers a sound that can barely be heard - you have to hold it to your ear.
Is there a fix for this problem?
Opening the collar unit shows the flat-disc-speaker is intact.
Collar NiCd battery is charged and deloivering ~4V.
Any ideas why the tone is not louder?
This is an older unit and the other functions work.

    Thanks

    Matt

Don't have any idea about the product. I never use any such product.

It doesn't need to be loud. Dog's have big ears and it is right next to them. Mine can all hear it without issue even though I can't.

If it were loud enough for you to hear at a distance, it would be too loud for the dog!
