In financial trouble just because you missed a paycheck or two? Guess what, you are living beyond your means.

If I get some a that gubbinment money and permission from Mrs. Poacher, I'm buyin a puppy and naming it Bailout.

One size DOES NOT fit all!!
My kid graduated college last May. First Job started in June. Drives a 2005 Camry with 200k on it. Rents a two bedroom apt and has a roommate to share rent. Pays student loan payments as well. Minimal time of employment to save any money.
This is the type of person that "needs" the help.
    UNLIKE you.
Obviously you stated you will squander the welfare $$ because you feel good about having a couple of nickels in the bank.
I would suggest to you that you and your Mrs get good jobs that pay a lot more to get your income above the threshold to receive the welfare $$!

Congratulations on your kid's accomplishment. I hope his or her student loan is minimal.
Did you really believe I was counting on a govt check to buy a puppy?

Well my friend my goal with that post was simple, it was to find something ridiculous to say that would justify posting a picture of dudes puttin precisely folded and tragically monetized pieces of toilet paper in garters of dancers as a means of barter.

You may note that I chose to criticize only your classification of "strip clubs" as a means of "squander". Your inclusion of "cell phones" as wasteful was the one that really hurt my feelings because the better part of my "formal business career" was spent helping take wireless market penetration from .003% to 20%(probably 140% today). Cell phones were likely vitally important for those putting their lives back together when terrestrial wireline systems were flooded and blown away by Katrina.

My mom always told me, "you waste too much money 'eating out', the food costs too much and you have to tip!" But I support these service providers and think they are necessary anyway. I feel if a person is a sorry cook they must eat out in order to get a good meal. It's not squander.

One could also contend that if you are old, fat and ugly(like me) and choose to ever see nekkid pretty women again(i haven't made that choice), then a small business that meets that perceived need isn't a "squander" either!

All that to say.....i was just trying, as always, to be funny! My apologies.

so according to Tim Scott (R- SC) stated that one of the provisions of the Stimulus package were that a person making 30K could conceivably make more on unemployment than their yearly salary...he justified it by stating the good provisions in the bill outweighed the bad...SMH

With bars, salons, casinos, gyms, restaurants and tattoo parlors closed, I know many that will be much better off financially because of this. Not downplaying the employees/owners hurt because of it.

    Social media.

There's been a whole bunch of Facebook memes about various ways to waste the bailout money. Even though it isn't even law yet, it is vital to spend that money (physically or mentally) to help out the 'comony.
