Default Steve Blythe: Prayers and thoughts needed

My close friend and trainer " Steve Blythe" is need of your thoughts and prayers. Steve has undergone some serious spinal surgery for severe cervical spinal stenosis with myelopathy. Steve has had 2 serious medical setbacks but we are praying healing can really start today. Your prayers will really help.

A Go Fund Me site has been set up by close friends and fans of Steve. https://www.gofundme.com/friends-of-steve-blythe

Thanks so much if you can help but prayers needed most.

Steve trained and handled FC Blackwater's Last Resort - "Finn" among others. I have a Finn pup - great dog. Prayers and well wishes sent on Steve's behalf! Thanks Dr. Bob for letting us know.

Thanks for posting this Bob. Steve and Judy are both really great people. They have been a big part of the field trial game in SD, MN, IA, and NE for decades! I am so sorry to hear that they are going through this challenge. If anyone can bounce back it's Steve! Him and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Stopped in to see Steve this morning. He was to have his first therapy session, since his surgery 3 weeks ago, when I left. Hope everything goes well and he makes good progress. Best to you Steve.

Spent some time Friday watching Steve do his occupational therapy. They are keeping him busy with OT and PT all day. Ken Schaaf came by and we sat out in lunch room and had coffee and dog talk.

As Steve's lunch came Gary Meeder came and joined the table side dog training session.

I think things are progressing nicely for Steve as he buckles down for some tough rehab.

Had nice visit with Steve yesterday. Bought him DQ hot fudge shake that he downed quickly. He continues to improve daily with PT and OT daily. Steve hoping he may go home in few weeks and continue therapy from home.

Thanks so much for everyone's thoughts and prayers.
