How about ones that aren't rock hard in the cold and are visible on snow. Any suggestions?

Below freezing, I use canvas bumpers. I like both Hallmarks and Flagmen.

Check out all the variables. Some have air pressure valves some do not. Some have ropes, others do not and charge $1.00 per.for them. Some have economical flat rate shipping others change considerably more. Some are rubber some are plastic. blah blah blah..................

Lucky dog bumpers don't get that hard in the cold weather.

I get my bumpers from gundog supply. Usuall have sales going on for a half dozen at a time. I use the Lucky Dogs as they come with a rope attached.
