Several years ago we had a Q up here in Alaska where the 2 judges where outside judges.
First series was a triple with 2-retired marks.
Both retired behind conspicuous holding blinds out in a fairly open field.
Is the rulebook requirement to "brush out" holding blinds only for AA stakes?
Often there is a specific trigger to disobedience either in the holding blind
or walking to the line.
For some retrievers, the first trigger is removing the collar the instant the dog hears "Guns Up!.
Instead, remove a slip lead as the running dog is returning with the last bird.
