Hellow and thanks for any comments. I introduced my 5month old blm to live taped winged chucker today for the first time he loved it chased it all over and back. But when the bird would stop or he would trap it he would just nudge it with his nose to get it running and flapping again but never would pick it up (what do I do now? )kinda confused the only other dog I trained picked it up and brought it right back to me. This pup is defiantly more challenging to train

Keep playing with it and let it have fun. Sometimes throwing it on water will assist the dog to pick it up.

I think Hillman says something like, if he picks it up, fine, if not, no big deal. Keep it fun, don't get angry, keep the pup happy. Try it again in a few days.

Get the Hillman puppy DVD if you don't already have it.

Thanks for the replys I was hoping it wasn't to out the norm guess I should look back over my hillman dvd .
