I know. Please do not shoot the messenger. My wife wants me to post this so these guys can find a home.

The email reads... Pictures were attached but I can't get them uploaded.

If you can find someone that is interested, please call me - Aimee
910.558.7107 - and I'll pass the info along. TRY HARD!!

If not, please pass this along to everyone you can think of in your
circle (the dogs are in WILMINGTON , NC ). The more folks that know about it, the
better chance we have of finding them a home.

Subject: Two Pure Bred Black Labs Need Home - URGENT

If you know anyone, please let me know...

Dear Dog lovers,
....beautiful dogs...perfect age...hardship case. Let me know if you
have any ideas.

Please forward to everyone you know. The owner has terminal cancer and
can't care for them anymore, and he'd really like to find a home for them
while he's still able. He's heartbroken and hopes to find a family who can take
both together. Please e-mail me directly for more information.

Details: Black Labs, Male, Adult, Altered. Darling Hunter and Fame are
two gorgeous pure-bred labs, brothers, who find themselves needing a new
home now that their owner has become too ill to care for them.
They are truly wonderful dogs. The owner's grandchildren can crawl all
over them and like a typical lab; they just lay there and love it. Both are
neutered, and up to date on their shots. They are housebroken and are
very well behaved.
They are about 4 years old. We would love to keep these two boys
together if possible; they are the best of friends.

I got this email at work last week, I thought it might be a hoax, I asked the sender where the dogs were located and no one knew.

The thing that tipped me off was it says "The owners grandchildren can crawl all over the dogs". My thought was if the guy has grandchildren, why isn't his family taking the dogs?????????

Anyway...glad to hear that it was possibly a hoax, the dogs were really cute and I wanted them anyway! (I'm such a softie!)

As for the family, I also got to thinking that if it were me, I wouldn't let MY family have my dogs either!!! (although that is a sad testimony to my family, but true!)
