Does any one on here have or train with an pup out of FC AFC LANDOVER'S RIGHT ON TARGET (AERO)?

I know he hasn't been breed much and his pups are young. Looking at him as a stud and just wondering how his pup are starting out.....

What nobody? O.K. so I'll fess-up. I own a 20month old female out of Areo. She is a 45lb rocket, very driven and very focused on the line, marks well, runs hard and straight on blinds. Force fetch, pile work and swim-by went almost too smooth. From the frist time she saw a gunner in the field she knew something was going to happen there. Does not mark off the gun, has yet to run to the gun station. Now for the down side she can be a talker whineing and huffing from the truck to holding blind and from blind to line once on line focus takes over and she is quiet ,when younger (last year) she would make noise at doubles and water marks. I believe I have a handle on it but will not run her in a test or trial untill I'm sure. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to think she will be at or very close to master level at 2yrs

As I currently speak, I am puppy-sitting David's 6 month old "Ruby" puppy. She was his pick of the litter out of one of Aero's breedings.
WOW!!!!!! She's a hand full and a sweetheart at the same time!!!!!!
She looks and is built exactly like Aero, she's going to be medium size.
She loves the water, if you bring her near it she's in it, even in Northern Minnesota at this time of year(and that's as of 3 weeks ago)!
She is birdy as all heck, let a goose, duck or even a Robin fly by and she's locked on!
We've been working her on bumpers and returning them to hand which she does reliably now because she's figured out another one follows, she absolutely loves to retrieve!!!! She can mark with the best, but is only good for 4-6 at this time and then curiosity or distractions take over, such as the birds or the goats from next door to David's training grounds that come visiting (she's getting good at goat herding, or is it chasing?).
She can be very independent when she wants, but also your best buddy and lover.
Two things you must know about her:
1. The Energizer Rabbit has nothing on her, she can go faster and longer than you care to believe. In a race if you gave the Bunny a head start she'd have that Bunny before you finished saying "GO"!!!!! And if she doesn't want to come, just try and catch her, loooong lead required!
2. She's a theif! Yesterday when I got home from work (it was raining), I let her out of the kennel and got the mail. I went to sit in my small kennel building (2 dog setup) when the house phone rang so I set the mail down on my chair and was gone for 1 minute. When I got back out she was shredding paper in the yard in the rain!!!!!!!!! Now that stack of mail had the local newspaper, junk mail, bills and the "OUTDOOR NEWSPAPER" which was in the middle of the pile as I didn't want it to get wet. Guess what she was ripping apart in the yard in the rain, yes the OUTDOOR NEWSPAPER!!!!!!!!! Was she jerking my chain(?) well after all she's a bitch.
But yes I forgive her, even thou she's black she's got yellow genes!!!!!!!!:D

P.S. Aero's pups may not be monsters in size, but I can gaurentee you they aint going to be lap dogs, run'um or give them to some one who will!

I currently have a 20 mo old son out of Aero as well. It is my first dog we got him because my dads best friend got a lab from this breeder without any research (because my dad was into pointing trials and what not before I was born and had no info of retrievers) we called him up and said we wanted a male out of his next breeding he handed us the pedigree and my dads eyes lit up. Because he knew the championship titles. I feel im the luckiest son of a gun in the world because he has been so easy to train and being my first dog I have made plenty and i mean PLENTY of mistakes. Hard charging, just absolutely fun to watch. Can't go wrong with Aero I wish i had the knowledge and experience of some of the others on here to see how far I really could take this dog.

TDMITCH- Who is the dam of your female and what breeder did you get her out of ? We could have littermates!! I have ben searching a while for them haha

Well, we also have 20 month old Aero pup. She is out of North Twin's Lady.
Her name is "B" and is the sweetest female we have ever had. She is a marking machine, high yet controlable drive, extremely trainable and is always looking to please. She is very calm on the line and also quiet. No vocalization at all.
She is 55 pounds soaking wet and I swear that she has a 15 horse outboard attached when she swims. She is a fast learner and likes to work. Doubles and triples are a breeze out to around 125 yds. Have'nt pushed beyond that.
She is very early in transition, but is learing fast. (My fault, haven't been training much of late.) The sky is the limit for her retieving.
In pheasant hunting, she is a tight quarterer and doesn't miss much. She shows "birdy" very well and doesn't lie to us when she is birdy.
Just yesterday, she retrieved between 40 and 50 pheasants at a tower shoot with MANY multiple marks and diversions.
On the family end of things, she has really attached to my kids and will play outside with them all day long. She does scooty butt on cammand and is a riot to play with!!
We are very please with her performance and attitude. i would highly recommend Aero pups!!

He had 3 males only my dad recieved a phone call shortly after they were born saying that he mistaked a female puppy for a male. So the stud got pick of the males he took a nice pup that jim picked for him. The second folks took another male that seemed laid back jim said he was going to be a house dog and ocasional hunter. And well the third male happens to be the best pup I could ask for and more!

Now y'all need to post some pics

we also have littermate to these pups. Picked her up from Jim last Sept. He had the pup returned to him. I had contacted Morgans owner to find out where I could get a pup out of these bloodlines as I had a littermate to Morgan put to sleep at age 16 last Aug. Was pleased to find our old friend Jim was doing a breeding to Aero, unfortunately this breeding did not take but he had a pup that we talked him into selling, this was Muddy. When we picked her up in
Sept she did not know how to retrieve and in Feb was the test dog at our clubs derby. Fast learner, great marker, faster than a speeding bullet, but also a great dog when in the house. Having a little problem with swimming, but working on that. She will be returning to WI for training next week and am anxious for Jim to see her as it was hard for him to resell her as he became attacted to her. Can't wait for Jim to see her again as we have told him if she is ready he could run her in a derby this summer. She is a great addition to our dogs.
