Hi Everyone,
The Blackhawk Retriever Club is hosting an AKC Judges' and Handlers' Seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sat., July 15th at the Pizza Corral in Holmen, WI (north of LaCrosse, WI). The cost of the seminar is only $40 and includes a pizza lunch. This class is the certification for becoming an AKC Hunt Test judge.
If you run hunt tests or would like to improve your handling skills, attend this seminar. We need a minimum of 20 people to satisfy the AKC, and have room for up to 25 people. At this time, we only have 14 people signed up. If you run AKC hunt tests, GIVE BACK TO YOUR SPORT and become certified to judge.
As you probably know, the AKC has relaxed the requirements for continuing education for existing judges. This will probably mean a reduction in the number of seminars that will be held--no need, no seminars. So, if you are planning to update your certification you should consider this seminar.
If you would like more information or want to sign up, please email me.
Thanks--Ann Heise, BRC Club Sec.
