Great job. Hopefully my Chief will be there this fall. I can't wait. What was the passing run like?

Well, we started off a little shaky, but we salvaged the land series very nicely. The first bird down was on the right, at about 15 feet! Next bird was about 60 yards, and to the left. Last bird was farther left at about 80 yards. Chevy is a right heeler. I tried heeling her on my left, to try to keep her from breaking on that first bird. She marked the first 2 birds, but never even got a look at the last bird. I sent her for the middle bird first, and she ended up going about half way there, then hooking right and hunting back to the short bird. So I lined her up again on the middle bird, because I knew she seen that one. She lined it, perfect. Now for the one she didn't see. I lined her up, sent her, and prayed! She took the line all the way to the bird! We had 1 whistle on the 84 yard land blind, one of the best I seen out of the field of 26 dogs. The water series was just picture perfect, no flaws at all. I still didn't know if I had passed, because of the first bird on the land series. This makes 4 straight passes between Nahra and HRC. She is on a streak, hopefully she can keep going.

That's great. Gotta love those quickly cashed in prayers. If you have to run an unintentional blind, then what a time to line the thing. cool.

Now you need to get the MH to go at the end. There are very few dogs that are master hunter in all three venues. We had one that passed away last aug. Won't be another one around our house since NAHRA has pretty muched gone asway in my neck of the woods.

Congrats!

WTG on your HRCH.
Did you run at Mississppi Flyway? A friend of mine ran 2 dogs in Finished and 1 in Started and put a HRCH on one of the Finished dogs.

Congrats on the HRCH!

I ran Dakota in finished at the test and passed both days as well. I must have been in same flight. I had the dark brown Chesapeake.
Yes, it was MFHRC. I ran in flight "B". I don't remember seeing any chessies.

Ah, we were in flight "A". We had 6 Chesapeakes on Saturday I think in our flight.

MFHRC always put on good tests and have some of the best grounds of anywhere I have been. Those old coal grounds are a dog trainers heaven.

That's my girl!! Thanks Richard. This picture was taken when Chevy was about 10 months old. She sure has come a long way since then.
