Thinking of bringing a female in early for breeding and was wondering if anyone ever used Ovuplant. How did the breeding turn out as far as size of the litter. My female has had 2 litters of nine and wanted to know if that will change.

I have a friend who used it and her bitch came in season but never ovulated.

I used it once. My avatar was a maiden bitch then who didn't go into heat very often or at a good time. She had 3 pups after the ovuplant. She has gone into heat twice after that when I could breed her. She had 8 and 7 in her other litters. All breedings have been with frozen semen with the same doc doing the breeding.

My feeling is that when we mess with mother nature it usually turns out inferior to what she planned.

Do a search on ovuplant, you should find more.

Used it a year ago on a 2.5 yr old bitch who had never had a heat cycle. We got 8 pups (one stillbborn). All are doing great in training.

Have used it again and by looking at her I think the litter will be at least 8 if not more.

Has worked great for me!

The people that responded were the breedings natural or surgical.
