I've raised 4 puppies in last 2 years and this one has me baffled.

12wk old can sleep 10pm to 6am without a problem, but can't go from 7:30-11am without peeing in crate. At lunch, she will go outside and potty, but pee's again in crate from 12:30 to 3:30 when daughter gets home from school.

See is fed in morning, but water is very limited. (this morning none)

The amount in crate is very small but still get's her wet. The crate is small also. She can not stand at full height.

Do I go to even smaller crate? Thanks Warren, forgot to mention $144 later no UTI everything normal.

It's like she gets out and starts hunting worms or playing and forgets to take care of business

Baffled in Arkansas....at least about the puppy, but not about the coach.

12 wk old female. What's the pedigree look like?
Smoking pedigree
Bring her to Enid for the SRS in 2 weeks and I'll take her off your hands.
Somehow I knew you were going there. Must be a Texarkana thing
Hey Jeff,

The males dont seem to have this problem.....i've got 3!! However, I will say give her some time. In my experience, the females ALWAYS take longer to potty train than the males...I don't know why. I just accept it for being what it is and make sure I am putting forth the effort!! I know you are doing the same! Has she seen pigeons yet?? Mine are crazy for them!!
Pigeons....she's chasing down robins that mistakenly light in the yard...but of course she hasn't caught one yet.

She is a retrieving machine and definately an alpha which we are working with.

Jeff
Put her on a leash and remind her what she is outside for when she gets distracted. Make sure she does her business before you bring her back in the house.
Definately working with this...she wants to play play play, but eventually gets business done.

Went home at 10:00 hoping to catch her before, but I was too late.

We'll get it worked out or she will find herself outside in the kennel run.
