I'm a big guy, my biggest problem is getting boots that will fit my calves. Any suggestions? Size 12-13 wide depending on manufacturer.

I got the same problem, get a pair with the gussets cut in the back or side. I went with some LaCrosse boots. some have had issues with them splitting or leaking at seams. Last pair I had lasted 12 years. No problems with the new ones yet

I got the Muck mid-calf chore boots. I love them. Most of the time I fold the top part down and turn them into 6 inch high boots. Very comfortable, easy to walk in, warm in the winter, and you can stand in them all day. If I need to keep water out I pull up the sides and they form a waterproof seal against my elephant calves.

My husband has the same problem. I bought him a pair of Under Armour H.A.W. boots (Sz 13) for Christmas from Cabelas. They have worked out well for him.
