Any one own or could provide testament to their trailers. I am considering a six hole "trainer" model. I am also comparing it to the Jones trailer "texan model...

Jones is more expensive but from what I can tell they have wood floors with an aluminum skin. At some point, the wood most likely would begin to rot??? The bittercreek model is all aluminum.

If anyone has experience with either, I would appreciate your input and or suggestions. I am pretty confused but would like to purchase soon. Feel free to pm me if you would like..

thanks

Can't speak for the Bittercreek trailers, but their boxes are super heavy duty and excellent craftsmanship. Everybody comments I have the nicest dog box they've seen.

The Jones trailers are all aluminum...not wood covered. At least mine isn't! ;) I'm not familiar with the Texan model, but nothing in the description on their website leads me to think the floor is wood?
I have friends with a Biter Creek trailer and they are very happy with it. And I just bought a Bitter Creek box...haven't received it yet, but should be soon.

I have a Bitter Creek box also and love it. If their trailers are built as well as their boxes you couldn't make a better choice. Especially for the money.

I had a 4 hole custom Jones built in 1999 and no problems other than ghost ground in lights.
Strongly recommend over-insulation and extra large exhaust fan however.
The floor is basic PT plywood base but mine is covered with stainless steel throughout interior.
Also have storage doors with the pneumatic tubes installed.
The lights now are all LED and real bright.
Think you will get lots of use from the trailer. Keep a coat of wax on it and should be a great asset.

+3 on Bittercreek boxes - they made a custom 8 hole for me about 2 years ago. Great to work with, had delivery to my area available, and the box is super nice.
