got accapted in to a government program to help with the cost of constructing a pond and need some help with the design or what are some shapes that would be good to incoporate if possible.

not sure what all will be feasible but need ideas. the ground is a gentle sloping field and the pond will be put in at the lowest end of the field. there is a well fed pond already there that may or may not be incorporated into the new one. all said and done we are looking at 2 to 21/2 acres. there will be a dam around the backside which will be close to half the circumfrance of the pond and the other side will be a gentle slope into the pond.

any actual blueprints would be great also any ideas.

Rob,
What gov't program did you get funding from? Be careful to review job standards and specifications. You may also need to have NRCS Engineer design this for you to meet program guidelines if it is an NRCS program?????
