April has been very good to us. The first of the month, at the San Mateo KC show, Ruby went Best of Breed over specials for her third major. And last weekend, at the Sacramento KC show, she went Best of Winners to finish her Breed Championship. This weekend she qualified at the Marin Retriever Club's master test to finish her Master Hunter title. This makes her about the 100th CH/MH Chesapeake. She is now Ch LPK Rubicon River Red CD, MH** (DC AFC Westwind's Rudy of Nordais x LPK Belleauwood of Crackshot MH)

AND her son Rocky finished his Senior Hunter title this weekend becoming Tulemist Rockets Red Glare SH (CH Tulemist First Light UD, MH X Ch LPK Rubicon River Red CD, MH**)

Thanks to the members of the Marin Retriever Club, the judges and workers for putting on a great event despite some warm weather.

Big congrats on the CH/MH, Tom! Ruby comes from a pretty nice litter--I've always loved her mama, and she has some pretty nice littermates, too. Seems like she's keeping it in the family for you with her SH son. Very well done
