This week end will be our first AKC Member Field Trial of the year. Total entries for our event are 211. This about the same as last year. One special item: a club member has worked this winter to handmake and hand paint duck decoys for our trophies. These will become collector's items.
Last year I put a well on my property and have been running it for 2 weeks to have my ponds 100% full.
We also will have an August trial on these properties. Plus in Sept. Chippewa Valley will have a field trial on these properties.
In Sept. we will be hosting our second AKC Hunting Test of the year on these properties. We will be offering an O/H qualifying, plus junior, master, and senior.
We have sufficient water to simulataneously run 4 water series at the same time.
