Would depend if the chocolate was yellow factored (heterozygous on E) or not. Would depend if the black was chocolate factored (heterozygous on B) or not. If both dogs are homozygous dominant on these genes (so the chocolate is AAbbEE and the black bitch is AABBEe) then you can expect all black puppies. However if either are heterozygous on either gene you could expect something other than black. Here are your possibilities:
Chocolate homozygous non-yellow factored (AAbbEE) x yellow factored black/non chocolate factored (AABBEe)
= AABbE_ puppies = all black
Chocolate heterzygous/yellow factored (AAbbEe) x yellow factored black/non chocolate factored (AABBEe)
= AAB_E_ (black puppies) or AAB_ee (yellow puppies)
Chocolate heterozygous/yellow factored (AAbbEe) x yellow and chocolate factored black (AABbEe)
= AAB_E_ (black) or AAbbE_ (chocolate) or AABbee (yellow with black nose) or AAbbee (yellow with brown nose)
Oh, and it doesn't help to know that the paternal sire is chocolate, because if a dog is chocolate we know his genotype at the B locus, it is homozygous recessive. It would help to know if a MATERNAL grandparent was chocolate or not.
