What’s Behind California Senate Bill 1221? An Organization Working to
Ban All Hunting
Mar30 by Rob Sexton

The main force behind the effort to ban the hunting of California’s
black bears and bobcats with hounds is the world’s largest anti-hunting
group – a group that won’t be satisfied unless all hunting is illegal.
Of course I know that claim sounds like a lot of hyperbole. And it’s
expected that the opposition to a bill like this would make this
argument. But it is also the truth. And I can prove it.

The group I refer to is the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS),
a multi-million dollar fundraising machine that does not operate dog and
cat shelters as its name might imply, but instead seeks to change laws
that permit people to hunt, raise livestock for food, use animals for
life saving medical research and more. They claim to oppose
particularly cruel forms of hunting. But their record shows otherwise.

Here are real examples of the HSUS agenda:

How the HSUS is part of the federal government is beyond me. It has it's own agenda and it is not at all in line with what the majority of Americans believe. If they want to save some money, go ahead and cut this program, it is a fraud. Examples like this are the prime reason I will never set foot in California for anything other then if my company has business there. I seriously feel sorry for anyone that lives in that state and has this type of crap forced on them. Don't mean to offend anyone that believes the way I do that lives in California, but I want nothing to do with that state. I have watched a show they have on tv about the fish and game department in California and I just laugh at some of the stuff they do. They seriously track known people who hunt pigs at night and call the poachers? Seriously? Those same people would be welcomed in Texas, we have a horrible problem with them. And if your state doesn't have a problem with them, wait awhile and you will.

The HSUS is not part of the Federal gov't. Truly...they are not. The fact that you asked the question shows just how pervasive they are.
