The reason I'm asking is unimportant, but I was wondering if camo clothing is required in the field trial seqments of the SRS?

Nope. Here's the SRS Dress Code:

Dress Code
• Handlers must wear attire suitable for national television.
• Handlers should wear a green or tan button-up collared shirt.
• Camouflage or white coats cannot be worn.
• Sponsor names or logos must be reasonably-sized.
• Slacks or brush pants should be worn; no blue jeans, please.
• Jackets may not be worn in inclement weather only.
• No white or camouflage clothing may be worn.
• Bring proper footwear - be ready for anything.

WHAT :!: can wear brush pants but no jeans :? what about jewelry ?I went to a AKC hunt test and shot flyers for them. everbody looked like they had just came out of a cabela's store and had more bling on them than a Zale's outlet :shock:

Oh yea...after many HRC events I showed up at an AKC hunt test wearing a camo shirt and you could have sworn I was an OGRE or some kind of retard. Those people looked at me like I was stupid or something. Some of the HRC regulars were like yea I guess we should have told ya. Just found that kind of funny since it was a "HUNT" test.

What I find interesting is the views of people over the generations. My grandfather thought camouflage was what “town folk” or “dudes” wore while hunting and any self-respecting water fowler wore the old “brown duck” coat. First time my granddad saw one of my brother’s friends with camo paint on his face he almost spit his teeth our laughing. I remember him telling him something to the effect; “hope you don’t fall down because we won’t be able to find you.”
