Central Minnesota Retriever Club to Host Pat Burns! July 2023!

The Central Minnesota Retriever Club is proud to host Pat Burns' Elite Retriever Training July 7-9, 2023. This fantastic seminar will feature three days of Advanced Retriever Training with Pat's expertise and coaching.

As of March 15th there remains 5 dog/handler spots available and unlimited number of observer spots in the seminar.

Dog/Handler teams registration fee is $650 ($600 for CMRC Members)
Observer registration fee is $200

The seminar will be held on the historic 120 acre property owned by CMRC. Lunch will be included for all seminar participants each day.

The Central Minnesota Retriever Club grounds is located at 2232 Golden Spike Road, Sauk Rapids, MN. The grounds are literally 5 minutes from Downtown St. Cloud. The St. Cloud metropolitan area which includes the cities of Sauk Rapids, Sartell, Waite Park St. Augusta and St. Joseph boats a population of roughly 200,000 people. There are numerous lodging options, restaurants, shopping, and everything one would need. St. Cloud is as centrally located in the state of Minnesota as one can get with major interstate and highway access directly into the city.

CMRC was established in 1948 and is proud of its 75 year history as an AKC Retriever Field Trial and Hunt Test Club. Founded by a group of dedicated amateur retriever enthusiasts and RHOF Members Lorney Martens and Tony Berger, CMRC has been the home of an amazing number of the nation's top retrievers and trainers. Each summer CMRC hosts two 4-stake Field Trials, two AKC Hunt Tests, as well as neighboring clubs who host NAHRA and HRC events on CMRC property. The property is used daily by both professional and amateur retriever trainers to advance the skills and abilities of their retrievers.
