This weekend at the Del Bay/LRC double D/Q Lee's young dog, Firemark's Prayer of Jabez, placed 3rd in the Del Bay Derby and 4th at LRC. These were Jay's first two trials as he just turned 13 months old last week! Pretty awesome for a young dog to hold it together for eight series.

BTW, this was a Golden. Lee, after years of owning Labs, aren't you glad you finally saw the light? 8)

The thanks really should go to Melanie who raised Jay until he was 5 months old and Dave Jensen who has had Jay the past four months. I had him only for 3 months. Dave was very pleased with Jay's effort as he was the youngest dog that Dave has put Derby points on, and yes Jay stays in the water.
